Reading list
The trials gather very different groups of people. These reports are where their diagnoses, comparisons and outcomes can be examined together.
STEP 5 and STEP 1
The STEP 5 report follows a weight question over two years in adults with overweight or obesity. STEP 1 supplies an earlier weight comparison in adults with overweight or obesity without diabetes.
Cardiovascular reports
SELECT, SUSTAIN-6 and STEP-HFpEF ask distinct cardiovascular questions. FLOW brings diabetes and chronic kidney disease together.
Tissue, consumption and tolerability
The ESSENCE report supplies the liver-biopsy findings. The alcohol use disorder trial concerns consumption and heavy drinking. The safety review adds the treatment difficulties discussed across these pages.
The diagnoses in these titles are indispensable to me. They are a useful antidote to my own temptation to gather every interesting finding under the comfortable word wellness.
